At the time when India is suffering from the surge in the number of COVID -19 infected patients, there are way too many speculations & questions arising in the minds of the Indian citizens who are almost in the last week of the 21-day lockdown which was announced by the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi.

At this time when we all are anxious about What will the next step of the Union Government? there is already some fake news floating on the internet.

One of the Facebook user posted a lockdown schedule suggesting a pattern given by WHO (World Health Organisation)
This pattern says that on 22nd March 2020 the Janta Curfew was just a trial and the Government underwent a 21days lockdown immediately 3 days after the said Janta Curfew. This 21-day lockdown will be followed by a 5-day relaxation there will be a complete lockdown for more 28 days which will again be followed by the 5-day relaxation and the reinstating of the lockdown will happen for another 15 days.

There is one more image that supports a similar case and is said to be coming from the World Health Organisation's publications itself.

After doing a fact check we got to know that there was no such official statement from the WHO and they have neither suggested any lockdown.

Though they have started a campaign of "One World Together at Home" which is in support of the healthcare workers.

At the time of publishing this article, there are more than 5K COVID Infected patients in India and more than 1K of COVID -19 Infected Patients in the state of Maharashtra itself. Which is almost 20% of the total Infected

The best way to fight against this pandemic is to save your self by staying home and save the world by just staying indoors with almost zero contact with anybody. In this way, we can safeguard us and our loved ones from being infected.

In another piece of news coming today is that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has called COVID - 19 situation as a "SOCIAL EMERGENCY" and hinted that the Lockdown may not be lifted totally in one go.

He further told that "Tough decisions have to be made" as the priority for his Government is to "save each and every life." HE even praised all the Chief Ministers for their joint efforts against the Pandemic War and is also in constant touch with them over the consultation regarding the lifting the Lockdown.

Today evening Uttar Pradesh government, which is also the biggest state in the union of India has ordered a complete shutdown of COVID - 19 hotspots which are 15 Districts and all the essential services will be home delivered as well the curfew passes will also be revied. This will come to effect from midnight on 9th April till 15th April.
